CALLING ALL GROUP FITNESS COACHES!
Have you ever wanted to know what goes into truly creating a fitness experience in every class? Now is your chance. This one day workshop will walk you from begining to end on how to curate playlists, move to the music, coach your class in a clean and understandable way...and leave them simply feeling empowered and wanting more.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
If you are or want to become a group fitness instructor, this is for you. We will offer two different modality trainings during the one day workshop. You can choose between Indoor Cycling or Bootcamp.
Both modalities will be together in the same room for all workbook portions of the event, and then will split. into their seperate rooms for maximum stage time.
WHEN IS THE WORKSHOP?
9/22/23 9AM - 5PM
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS & WHATS INVOLVED:
9AM-10AM WORKBOOK #1
During the first hour, we will sit as a team and go through the printed handout structure you will receive. This hour will focus on two components that help you lead an experience that will be remembered: Musicology & Persona
10AM -12PM STAGE TIME
This will be your first shot to show out! Whether its your first time on a stage teaching or you are a seasoned vet, all are welcome here. There will be some lead-up preparation to the workshop that will make sure you are prepared for this first session.
You will have the ability to lead the team through whichever modality you chose, and get real time feedback and suggestions to tweak and dial in your presentation!
12PM - 1PM LUNCH
We do everything as a team, including break bread. We will have a catered lunch for all of our participants. We will take an hour to decompress and discuss all the things we learned during the first half of the workshop.
1PM-2PM WORKBOOK #2
A good class doesn't just get pulled from thin air. It takes structure and frameworks to develop an experience that gets you repeat attendees. During the 2nd workbook portion, we will go over good coaching cue techniques that will allow you to lead with confidence. We also will give you the form and structure needed to develop a class thats effective and efficient each and every time.
2PM-4PM STAGE TIME
Alright, its round 2 for you now. At this point, you've already been under these lights, now it's showtime. Take a chance to leverage all the tips, techniques and coaching habits you've been discussing throughout the day and perform some killer songs.
Just like the first go around, iron sharpens iron. We will make sure everyone has their shot to get back on stage to perform and implement the new and improved versions of themselves.
4PM - 5PM BRAIN DUMP
After all that work, everyone will have some key takeaways. Some may be vastly different than others. We will use this time to write all over the mirrors what you loved, hated, adored and achieved during this Formula workshop. Our goal and intention is for every single person to be able to take something with them to implement and improve their group fitness class experience wherever they return too!
